Intervalix provides simple and easy-to-use music interval recognition, for anyone from beginning students to professional musicians. Just press PLAY to hear an interval, then tap the name of the interval to see if you’ve identified it correctly.

The app randomly generates intervals, so you never know what interval is coming next.

Options let you focus on specific interval forms: sequential (melodic, ascending or descending), simultaneous (harmonic), or keep them random.

Default presentation is full interval names, with an option to use abbreviations instead.
A color-coded, self-dismissing animated answer response is the default, with an option for an alert style answer response that dismisses with a single tap.

Works on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and now the first ear training app on Apple Watch. The display transitions smoothly between portrait and landscape on all supported devices, so you are not locked in to just one orientation.
